As I celebrate my 70th birthday, I know first hand aging isn’t easy. You’ve got back pain like never before, you prefer to stay in than go out, and you hate seeing new wrinkles pop up.
Yet no matter how active and alive you feel, every time you register for something online, you’re amazed at how long it takes to scroll way down to your birth year. And oh yes, it’s hard to believe your age!
70 remains hard to roll off my tongue and it’s the number 70 that feels more unreal.
I’m feeling older inside and out, yet younger in thought — thankfully, age is just a number and I’ll celebrate all month long, putting candles on cakes. “Getting older is better than the alternative”, says my hubby and I agree.
