Painted Rock Beach is more like a second- or even third-tier attraction in Seaside Oregon and one of those places you find only if you’re looking for it or stumble upon it.
Left a lobster rock
Hundreds of brightly painted rocks are left, some remembering family vacations, or memorizing loved ones and others feel uplifting and inspirational.
For me, Painted Rock Beach is a little magical wonder and the perfect spot to leave one of my labeled “sea” rocks in hopes it’ll put a little sparkle in someone’s smile, add a little skip in their step and a warmth in the finder’s heart.
And just like that… A painted rock in California has found a home in Switzerland after being placed at Painted Rock Beach in Oregon.
Who would have thought that one tiny little rock, one random act of kindness can help people connect.
