“In every walk with Nature one receives far more than he seeks.”
– John Muir

Panorama Trail appears to start from Summit House Restaurant on State College.

You’ll find an opening between the Summit House and the Coyote Hills Golf Course leading to the Panorama Nature Preserve entrance.

There’s a spectacular view of Fullerton, Brea, and Orange County as you begin on the East Coyote Hills Trail on Bastanchury to the Panorama Trail.

Enjoy the great view at all the viewing locations and catch your breath in the group rest area.

Follow Skyline Drive, it’s an unusual housing tract that has gravel for sidewalks in front of some very expensive homes and make a right on Ridgetop Lane. The trail is along a street but still of rocks.

Continue on the trail, which will lead you to Brea Blvd and Bastanchury. Half of the trail is in the space between back yards and a golf course. It’s the nicest part of the walk as the path gets higher in the hills through beautiful trees.

The last 1/4 mile loops to the top of Panorama Trail to enjoy the spectacular views once again; both south and north.
